H. Supplemental Agreement No. 7 with CDM Smith, Inc. for Construction Engineering & Inspection Services for Gee Creek Erosion Control Phases 1 through 4 and Related Budget Amendment #17-038 Introduction: Consideration of Supplemental Agreement No. 7 to the Standard Consultant Agreement for Professional Services for Transportation Engineering with CDM Smith, Inc., in the amount of $91,890.00, to provide construction engineering and inspection (CEI) services for the Gee Creek Erosion Control Project Phases 1 through 4, and related Budget Amendment # 17-03 8 is requested. Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #17-038 will increase the Stormwater Improvements Other than Building/Gee Creek CEI account #110-0740-539.63-44 and Non-operating Sources account #110-0000- 389.90-00 in the amount of $58,137. BA # 17-03 8 Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide funding for costs associated with Supplemental Agreement No. 7 with CDM Smith for CEI services related to the Gee Creek Erosion Control Project in the amount of $91,890. Budget Amendment #17-017 was approved by City Commission on March 27, 2017 and has $33,753 remaining uncommitted to be used toward the total cost of $91,890. This amount is considered allowable & reimbursable costs under the approved NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service) grant. An additional $58,137 must be appropriated to obtain the full cost of Supplemental Agreement No. 7 and is considered unallowable costs under the NRCS grant that will be incurred by the City.
