D. Cooperative Purchase of Replacement Network Equipment from SHI International Corn. Introduction: Consideration of a purchase order to SHI International Corp. for the purchase, delivery, installation and provision of one (1) year of maintenance of Brocade network equipment (switches) at City Hall and all other City -owned buildings in accordance with State of Florida DMS Purchasing Alternate Contract Source No. 4320000-WSCA-I4-ACS, effective 9/08/2014 through 05/30/2019, titled "Data Communications Products & Services" is requested. Total expenditures are not to exceed $53,368.38 for this onetime purchase. PBA -2017-0137 has been assigned for tracking purposes. Budget Impact: Funding is available in the FY 2017 General Fund Finance/Information Systems Small Tools and Minor Equipment account # 001-0151-513.56-00. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended approval for the cooperative purchase of the network switches fi-om SHI International Corp. for $53,368.38 in accordance with State of Florida DMS Purchasing Alternate Contract Source No. 4320000-WSCA-I4-ACS. E. Seminole County Boating Improvement Grant Application Introduction: Consideration to submit an application for the Seminole County Boating Improvement Grant, in the amount of $40,000, to renovate the Secret Lake Park kayak and canoe launch area at North Lake Triplet and to provide navigational signage and safety screening for the Casselberry Blueway Trail is requested. Budget Impact: There is no net additional cost for this action. Notification of the award will occur atthe end of October/November 2017, and if awarded, the grant will require the City to pay the expenses up front and receive reimbursement upon completion. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval to submit the Seminole County Boating Improvement Grant for $40,000 to renovate the kayak/canoe boat launch on North Lake Triplet and navigational signage for the Triplet Lake Chain.
