CASSLLBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of January 9, 2017 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 10 of 10 <br />Commissioner' Sandra Solomon - Seat No. 3: <br />® Wished everyone a very happy and healthy New Year. <br />® Also expressed sympathy for the tragedy earlier in the day, and commented that there had also <br />been recent bomb threats against local Jewish centers and urged everyone to be aware of <br />things happening around them. <br />Commissioner Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />Thanked Chief Krantz and all the Police Department staff for all that they do and the risks <br />they take to keep the citizens safe. <br />Stated he was looking forward to 2017 and seeing some of the current projects completed. <br />Vice Mayor Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />Agreed with Commissioner Meadows' and Hufford's comments, and noted that it is going to <br />be a very exciting year for the City seeing these major projects finalized. <br />Mayor Glancy —Seat No. 5: <br />Expressed appreciation to the Police Department staff for all they do. <br />Stated she was looking forward to a lot of positive things in the Casselberry community over <br />the next year. <br />Each of the Commissioners congratulated Mr. Newlon on his evaluation, thanking him for all he does and <br />stating he was a great asset to the City. <br />There being no further business, Mayor Glancy adjourned the meeting at 6:03 p.m. <br />f <br />DATE MINUTES APPROVED BY CITY COMMISSION: __.. <br />ATTEST: <br />r ,. <br />Donna G.
