that have a regional appeal to visitors from outside the boundaries of the <br />City. <br />Special Use Parks: Lake Concord Park, Secret Lake Park, and Wirz Park <br />4. Golf Club. The Casselberry Golf Club is an active multi -use <br />recreational facility managed and operated as a commercial entity. In <br />addition to providing the public with an opportunity to practice and play <br />golf, specific areas of the facility may also be permitted for individual, <br />group, association or organization events. Access to the golf course <br />requires the public to register at the club house and pay applicable fees <br />before using the Casselberry Golf Club. <br />Special Event means any organized public gathering of persons, comprised of <br />groups or individuals, for a show, celebration, exhibition, pageant, rally, <br />demonstration, concert, festival, or assembly of any kind, other than the normal <br />use and operation of a City Park, which is calculated to attract at any one time the <br />physical attendance of at least one hundred (100) individuals and held in a Special <br />Use Park. This term shall include music or entertainment festivals, parades, fairs, <br />festivals, rodeos, fundraisers, jogging activities, or any other similar organized <br />activity whether for profit or not for profit. <br />Sec. 60-3. Hours of operation and closure. <br />A. Hours. <br />1. The operating hours for each individual park shall be established <br />by the City Manager, or his or her designee, and shall be posted therein for public <br />information. <br />2. Passive Recreation, Active Recreation, and Special Use Parks. <br />Except as otherwise specifically provided, passive recreation and active recreation <br />City Parks shall be open for public use from sunrise to sunset, and closed from <br />sunset to sunrise. Except as otherwise specifically provided, special use parks <br />shall be open for public use from sunrise to 11:00 p.m., and closed from 11:00 <br />p.m. to sunrise. Such closing hours shall not apply to activities being held <br />pursuant to a permit granted by the Community Development Department or by <br />the Recreation Division when such permit specifies longer hours. <br />3. Casselberry Golf Club. The Casselberry Golf Club shall be open <br />to the public at posted hours and shall not otherwise be open for public use, <br />except as authorized by the City Manager or the Recreation Division. Grounds <br />and maintenance employees may conduct their responsibilities beginning one <br />hour before the posted operating hours when utilizing equipment with mufflers. <br />4. It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully enter upon or <br />remain within any of the parks during such hours as the parks are closed to public <br />Ordinance 17-1462 <br />Page 4 <br />
