community; and protect the health, safety, and welfare of the residents of the City and all City <br />park users. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA: <br />Section 1. Recitals. The foregoing recitals are hereby fully incorporated herein by <br />this reference as legislative findings and the intent and purpose of the City Commission of the <br />City of Casselberry. <br />Section 2. Repeal of Chapter 60 "Parks and Recreation". That Chapter 60, <br />"Parks and Recreation", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida, is hereby <br />repealed in its entirety. <br />Section 3. Establishment of New Chapter 60, entitled "Parks and Recreation". <br />That Chapter 60, entitled "Parks and Recreation", of the Code of Ordinances of the City of <br />Casselberry, Florida is hereby established as follows: <br />CHAPTER 60 — PARKS AND RECREATION <br />Sec. 60-1. Applicability of chapter. <br />The provisions of this chapter shall govern the use of city -owned parks and <br />recreational areas and the facilities located therein. <br />Sec. 60-2. Definitions. <br />The following words, terms, and phrases, when used in this chapter, shall have the <br />meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly <br />indicates a different meaning: <br />City Park means any land owned and maintained by the City of Casselberry for <br />recreational use, whether passive or active, and designated as a "City Park" by a <br />resolution, or any land which has been dedicated for use as a City Park developed <br />or undeveloped, which has been accepted by the City Commission. Included in <br />the definition of the term "City Park" are all natural resources, wildlife, facilities, <br />improvements, waters and materials in, on or under the lands so designated. <br />Properties in any system of trails owned by the City are intended to be designated <br />Ordinance 17-1462 <br />Page 2 <br />
