(12) Refer to ULDR Section 2-7.28 for design and performance standards for <br />the Industrial Medium zoning district. <br />(13) Please refer to Section 2-7.29 for performance criteria for check <br />cashing/payday loan businesses. <br />(15) Refer to Section 2-7.30 for performance criteria for Non -Traditional Uses <br />that include body art studios, check cashing/payday loan businesses and <br />pawn shops. <br />16) Refer to Section 2-7.36(E)(2)(a) for permitted zoning districts for Wireless <br />Communication Facilities. <br />Section 3. Amendment of Section 2-7.22, "Satellite Dishes and Communication <br />Antennas and Towers". That Section 2-7.22, "Satellite Dishes and Communication Antennas <br />and Towers" of Article VII, "General Regulations" of Chapter II, "District and General <br />Regulations" of the City Unified Land Development Regulations, is hereby amended as follows: <br />Section 2-7.22. - Satellite dishes and eommunieation antennas and towers. <br />A. A satellite dish is a structure which shall be an accessory use to the <br />primary or principal use upon a lot. The following regulations shall apply to the <br />location, height, design, construction, operation, maintenance, and existence of <br />satellite dishes: <br />1. Permit required. Every person intending to install or materially <br />reconstruct a satellite dish shall apply for a building permit from the City prior to <br />the installation or commencement of work on said satellite dish. <br />2. Residential districts. One satellite -dish -shaped antenna is permitted <br />as an accessory structure for each property within the single-family and one- and <br />two-family residential districts of the City. The size of the satellite antenna shall <br />not exceed 11 feet in diameter. No satellite dish may be mounted to exceed the <br />roofline of any dwelling unit. <br />Satellite dishes shall be set back eight feet from the rear and/or side property <br />lines. No satellite dish shall be permitted in a front yard. <br />Satellite dishes shall be of the metal mesh variety that is painted in a <br />corresponding color so as to blend in with the surrounding vegetation or <br />buildings. Landscape screening including fencing, hedges, trees, etc., of heights <br />necessary to screen the view of the dish, shall be placed or planted so as to buffer <br />adjacent neighbors. <br />Page 7 of 38 <br />
