transportation, which will then forward the application to the City for <br />review and comment. <br />h If the plans or drawings submitted showing the proposed location for <br />installation of the facility in the public rights-of-way require revision for <br />any reason prior to commencing construction, the applicant shall promptly <br />submit revised plans and drawings to the City En ig neer• <br />Sec. 68-46. - Notification to other agencies. <br />(a) The applicant for a permit under this Division shall notify in <br />writing all other rights-of-way users and municipalities in the immediate <br />vicinity of the proposed construction or installation locations, stating the <br />work proposed by the applicant, in order to determine if there are any <br />objections to the applicant's proposed construction or installation. Any <br />objections to the applicant's proposed construction or installation by <br />affected rights-of-way users or municipalities must be forwarded in <br />writing to the applicant and the City Engineer's office within seven days of <br />receipt of the applicant's letter notifying the user or municipality of the <br />proposed work. Except as provided in this Article, the City Engineer will <br />hold a permit application for a period of seven days only, to allow time for <br />the receipt of objections to the proposed use of the rights-of-way. For the <br />purpose of expediting the handling of a permit application, the seven-day <br />period may be shortened by including with the permit application a <br />statement that other affected rights-of-way users have been notified, and <br />that the users have no objections to the issuance of the sfight of way <br />+•l tie <br />engineering permit. <br />(b) The applicant shall certify the notification to other users by <br />completing the section provided in the application for such verification. It <br />is the full and complete responsibility of the applicant to determine that all <br />other users are notified of the proposed work. Any work performed <br />without this notification shall be at the sole risk of the applicant. <br />(c) Pursuant to the provisions of F.S. § 553.851(2), all applicants will <br />indicate on the permit application the gas notification number immediately <br />following the gas company's name. No permit for excavation of the rights- <br />of-way will be issued until the applicant has certified his compliance with <br />F.S. § 553.851(2)(a) and (c). <br />Sec. 68-47. - Fee. <br />(a) Fees for right -mayengineering permits issued under <br />this Division shall be set by the City Manager and City Commission, and <br />in accordance with Section 337.401, F.S., as amended, as applicable. <br />Page 8 of 34 <br />
