City of Casselberry Police Officers' and <br />Firerigbters' Pension Board of Trustees <br />Minutes of Navember 8,2016 Meeting <br />Page 3 of 5 <br />Alternative Income: Westwood Laconic: Opportunity Fund has exp sure to Treasury funds, which <br />11L11 -t some, but they also have eXposLII-e to Master Limited PartnershII)s and REITs, which were <br />better perfon-ning later in the quarter. <br />Real Estate Inc nic- American Core Realty is in transition as they are moving into more urban <br />areas and larger I)ro ernes. <br />B. The 1 oordahn Croup — 2016 Asset Allocation Model <br />As requested at the previous meeting, Mr. Evatt presented the 2016 Asset Allocation Madel: 15 Year <br />Forecasts & Asset Mix Projections report. In addition to the current policy, four models were presented <br />comparing each model's estimated returns based on five different asset allocation scenarios. The areas <br />compared for each inodel were Annualized Expected Return, Expected Risk, , Annualized Best Case <br />Return, Annualized worst Case Scenario, and Probability of Negative Return. After all options presented <br />were discussed, it was decided that no changes will be niade at this time and that Mr. Evatt will update <br />the report to reflect 2017 numbers. <br />6. New Business <br />A. FY 2015-2016 Actual Expenses <br />In accordance with state law, the actual plan expenses for fiscal year 2015-2016 was prepared and <br />presented by the Plan Administrator. The Flan expenses did cote in under budget. <br />MOTION: Member Strenth moved to the actual plan expenses for fiscal year 2015-2016 as <br />presented. Motion was seconded by Member Harkins. Motion carried by voice vote 5-0. <br />B. 2017 Meeting Dates <br />Meeting dates for calendar year 2017, as submitted by Christiansen & Delmer were presented. The <br />M eeting elates are February 14, 2017, May 9, 2017, AugUst 8, 2017, and November 7, 2017. All meetings <br />will be held at 10:00 a.m. in the Casselberry City Commission Chambers. <br />MOTION: Mem er Harkins moved to approve the meeting dates for calendar year 2017 as <br />presented. Motion was seconded by Member Van Ore. Motion carried by voice vote 5-0. <br />C. TrU tee Terin Expirations <br />The terms of trustees Strenth, Clancy, and Harkins end on December 31, 2016. Member Clancy stated <br />that he will not be returning the board. Members Harkins and Strenth stated that they are interested in <br />i-etUrning to the board.. The Flan Administrator will conduct the electron for the Police Officer TrUstee. <br />7. Old Business <br />A. None <br />. Consent Agenda <br />The action proposed to be taken is slated for each item on the consent agenda. Unless the item i <br />removed from the Consent Agenda b a Pension Board member for discussion on individual items, <br />a single motion will approve all items. <br />
