Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency <br />May 10, 2017 <br />Page 4 <br />Mr. Henson asked the applicant to come forward. Ms. Deborah Parran, 730 Crestview Drive, Casselberry, <br />Florida came forward. A brief discussion ensued regarding the nature of the home becoming uninhabitable, <br />improving the neighborhood and an increase to the tax base. <br />Mr. Henson asked if there was anyone in the audience who wished to speak in favor of, or in opposition to, <br />the request. Ms. Courtney Owens, 741 Crestview Drive, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Ms. Owens stated that <br />the surrounding neighbors are in support of the variance request. <br />Mr. Henson asked for a motion to address BA 17-02. Mr. Lutz made a motion that the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission grant replacement mobile home minimum living area variance, BA 17-02, for property located at 730 <br />Crestview Drive. The motion is based upon the Planning and Zoning Commission's findings of fact and conclusions, <br />the staff report dated May 10, 2017, the four (4) conditions of approval outlined in the staff report and the four (4) <br />Exhibits. Ms. Campbell seconded the motion. The motion passed with a majority vote with Mr. Bakalla casting the <br />dissenting vote. <br />Ninth Item of Business: Other Business <br />Mr. Victor Hernandez came forward to speak to the Commission regarding a business he would like to open <br />in Casselberry. Mr. Henson referred Mr. Hernandez to staff. <br />Tenth Item of Business: Adiournment. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, Mr. Henson adjourned the meeting at 7:03 p.m. <br />Date Minutes Approved by Planning and Zoning Commission:- - <br />Joni Dixofi, Secretary <br />
