The City of Casselberry Lakes Management Advisory Board held a meeting <br />Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 6:30 p.m., in the <br />Casselberry City Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, FL 32707 <br />Appointed Board Members Present: <br />Paul Blais <br />Brad Gonzalez <br />Marc Taylor <br />Austin Lasure <br />Jason McDonald <br />Appointed Board Members Absent: <br />Laura Hatton <br />Staff Members Present: <br />Marissa Williams, Natural Resources Officer <br />D. Denyse Wilson, Staff Assistant II (Recording Secretary) <br />1. Call to Order: The meeting was called to Order at 6:34 pm by Mr. Brad Gonzalez, who <br />asked all to stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />2. Roll Call: Ms. D. Denyse Wilson completed the roll call. The new members were <br />welcomed to the Board by Mr. Gonzalez. <br />3. Nomination of Chairman and Vice Chairman: The floor was opened for nomination for <br />the Board Chairman. Mr. Paul Blais nominated Mr. Gonzalez for Board Chairman. It was <br />seconded by Mr. Lasure and he accepted. It was taken to vote and accepted by all. Mr. <br />Gonzalez nominated Mr. Blais for Vice Chairman. It was seconded by Mr. Taylor and he <br />accepted. It was taken to vote and accepted by all. Mr. Gonzalez gave words of <br />appreciation for the confidence that the Board had for accepting them as the Chairman <br />and Vice Chairman. <br />4. Approval of Minutes: Ms. Marissa Williams informed us that the previous minutes that <br />they received digitally were a draft. The minutes that were distributed today are the <br />final version for approval. Ms. Williams shared that there were two items labeled as "D" <br />that needed to be corrected. Minutes were approved with the amendment. Mr. Blais <br />made the motion and it was seconded by Mr. Taylor. Minutes were unanimously <br />approved. <br />5. Old Business <br />Updated Lake Statistics: Ms. Williams provided a historic summary of the City's lakes <br />management policies for all new Board members in attendance. She presented a table <br />with statistics regarding all surface waters wholly or partially within the City's <br />jurisdictional boundary and included updated data regarding navigable canals.
