Reorganization of the Community Development Department <br />Introduction: Consideration to reorganize the Community Development Department including the <br />replacement of the Development Services Manager position with a Chief Planner position is requested. <br />Budget Impact: Approval of this agenda item will authorize the transition of the Development Services <br />Manager to a Chief Planner with the restructure of the organization of the Community Development <br />Department. Sufficient funding has been provided in the FY 2017 Community Development personal set vices <br />accounts for this change. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended the <br />reorganization of the Community Development Department including the elimination of the Development <br />Services Manager (C13) and creation of the Chief Planner (C9). <br />D. City Investment Activity FY 2016 <br />Introduction: the City of Casselberry Annual Report of Investment Activity for the fiscal year ended <br />September 30, 2016 is submitted for City Commission review and acceptance. The report is a ministerial duty <br />required under Florida Statutes and is provided for informational purposes only. <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Finance Director recommended acceptance of the City of <br />Casselberry's Annual Report of Investment Activity. <br />E. Budget Amendment #17-029 — Community Redevelopment Agency Budget <br />Adjustment <br />Introduction: Budget Amendment # 17-029 provides for amending the FY 2017 Community Redevelopment <br />Agency (CRA) budget. <br />Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment #17-029 will decrease the CRA Other Non -Operating <br />Sources account #113-0000-389.90-00 in the amount of $17,486; the Professional Services account 4113- <br />0210-515.31-00 in the amount of $11,686, and the Accounting and Auditing account #113-0210-515.32-00 in <br />the amount of $5,800. <br />BA #17-029 <br />Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to adjust the CRA Budget. <br />
