Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution 16-2926 and the associated Funding Agreement with MetroPlan Orlando for Fiscal Year 2016-2017. C. Resolution 16-2927 — Contingency Change Order No. 4 with Wharton -Smith Related to the Lake Concord Park Project & Related Budget Amendment 07-013 "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE USE OF CONTINGENCY FUNDS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTINGENCY CHANGE ORDER NO. 004 FOR RECONCILIATION OF THE ARCHITECT'S SUPPLEMENTAL INSTRUCTIONS TO CONFORM THE PLAN DOCUMENTS AND CONSTRUCTION COSTS RELATED TO THE LAKE CONCORD PARK AND TRIPLET LAKE DRIVE SIGNATURE STREET PROJECTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 16-2927 approves the use of available GMP (Guaranteed Maximum Price) over-all project contingency funds of $281,541.14, related specifically to the five contingency fund requests listed in Contingency Change Order No. 004 in the total amount of $88,547.19, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment # 17-013 will decrease the Lake Concord Park contingency allocation and increase the Mass Grading Project #CC1504 and Triplet Lake Drive Realignment Project #CC1501 in various amounts. Detailed accounts and amounts are reflected in Budget Amendment #17-013 and attached schedule. A copy of Budget Amendment Request #17-013 and the allocation schedule is attached to and made a part of these minutes. BA #17-013 Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval of Contingency Change Order #4 to the contract with Wharton -Smith, Inc. for the Lake Concord Park project. This is for alterations to Triplet Lake Drive realignment and Lake Concord Park Mass Grading updates.
