Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment # 17-004 will increase the State Law Enforcement Trust Fund/Aids to Private Organizations account #104-0610-521.82-00 and the Other Non -Operating Sources account #104-0610-389.90-00 in the amount of $500 in each account. BA # 17-004 Explanation of Request: This Budget Amendment seeks City Commission approval for the Police Department to sponsor a table at the Law Enforcement Hero's Breakfast with a remembrance ceremony to follow, that will be held on November 12, 2016. Budget Amendment #17-004 will establish the budget for this expenditure. The State Law Enforcement Trust Fund will increase the Aids to Private Organizations account # 104-0610-521.82-00 and the Other Non -Operating Sources account # 104-0610-3 89.90-00 by $500. Account Number Account Description Amount Increase: 104-0610-521.82-00 Aids to Private Organizations $500 104-0610-389.90-00 Other Non -Operating Sources $500 Recommendation: The City Manager and the Police Chief recommended approval of the donation to the Central Florida Chapter of Concerns of Police Survivors and related Budget Amendment # 17-004. G. 2016 GameTime Playground Grant Submission for Lake Concord Park Introduction: Approval to apply for the 2016 GameTime Playground Grant which provides a 35.5% discount towards the purchase of a playground unit for the new Lake Concord Park development is requested. The unit selected is the IX 16009 Vega Ionix listed at $37,235.00. If awarded, the price of the playground after the 35.5% discount will be $24,023.00. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget at this time. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended applying for the 2016 GameTime Playground Grant. Audience Participation: No one came forward to address the Consent Agenda. MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0.
