CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of October 10, 2016 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 13 of 14 <br />emergency operations for Hurricane Matthew. <br />Reported he had participated in a Glow in the Dark golf event at the golf course on September <br />23, 2016. <br />Commissioner Sandra Solomon - Seat No. 3: <br />® Thanked staff for everything they did during Hurricane Matthew. <br />® Stated she was very proud of the artwork donation and thanked all those responsible for <br />making it happen. <br />Commissioner Bill Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />Thanked Chief Krantz and City staff for all their hard work during Hurricane Matthew. <br />Noted that Ms. Gordana Pesakovic from Herzing University had been instrumental in <br />coordinating the sculpture exchange program and was also working with South Seminole <br />Middle School on a sister school program with a school in Serbia. <br />Vice Mayor Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />® Added his thanks to everyone who had worked on emergency operations for Hurricane <br />Matthew. <br />• Reminded everyone of the reception for Artist Milos Saric being held at the Art House <br />immediately following the Commission meeting. <br />Mayor Glancy — Seat No. 5: <br />® Added her thanks to Chief Krantz, staff and the City Manager for a job well done in <br />managing emergency operations for the recent storm. <br />® Thanked all staff who helped with the Throwback Thursday themed Board Appreciation <br />Dinner on September 29, 2016. <br />® Advised that she, City Manager Randy Newlon and Larry Adams of ACi had been invited for <br />the third consecutive year to speak to a real estate development class at UCF about <br />public/private partnerships and progress on the Lake Concord Park project. <br />There being no further business, Mayor Glancy adjourned the meeting at 7:00 p.m. <br />
