All were present with the exception of Commissioner <br />Meadows. Commissioner Meadows' Excuse of Absence was considered and approved as part of the Consent <br />Agenda later in the meeting. <br />5. MINUTES <br />A. Minutes of September 8, 2016 — Special Meeting <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Aramendia moved to approve the minutes of the September 8, 2016 <br />Special Meeting, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner <br />Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 4 — 0. <br />6. PRESENTATIONS/COMMENDATIONS <br />No items were presented on this agenda. <br />7. CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Excuse of Absence of Commissioner Andrew Meadows <br />Introduction: Commissioner Meadows has advised that he will be out of town the week of September 25, <br />2016 on a business trip and unable to attend the Commission meeting on September 261h. He respectfully <br />requests his Excuse of Absence be placed on the Consent Agenda for consideration. <br />B. Approval of Legal Services Invoices <br />Introduction: Approval of the legal services invoice from the City Labor Attorney is requested. <br />Fisher Phillips <br />City Labor Attorney Services for August 2016 <br />Invoice No. 22751-1023129 $ 238.50 <br />Budget Impact: Funds for the City Labor Attorney's invoice are available in FY 2016 Budget Account No. <br />001-0140-514.31-02. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and staff recommended approval of the legal services invoice as <br />submitted. <br />
