Resolution 16-2896 — Amendment No. 1 to Traffic Signal Maintenance and <br />Compensation Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL <br />MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />FOR FISCAL YEAR 2016-2017; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND <br />EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 16-2896 approves Amendment No. 1 to the Traffic Signal Maintenance and <br />Compensation Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to receive compensation <br />from FDOT for the maintenance of specific traffic signals along U.S. Highway 17-92 and SR 436 for FY <br />2016-2017 for an annual compensation amount of $50,513, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said <br />document on behalf of the City. <br />Budget Impact: Revenue will be budgeted in FY 2017 in the amount of $50,513.00 in the Local Option Gas <br />Tax Fund Other Miscellaneous Income account #109-0000-369.93-05. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution <br />16-2896. <br />D. Resolution 16-2897 — Piggyback Agreement with Calgon Carbon Corporation <br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A PIGGYBACK AGREEMENT WITH CALGON CARBON <br />CORPORATION FOR ACTIVATED CARBON SUPPLY REACTIVATION SERVICES; <br />PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABH,ITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." <br />Introduction: Resolution 16-2897 approves the Agreement with Calgon Carbon Corporation to provide <br />granulated activated carbon supply reactivation services for an amount not to exceed $310,000 by <br />piggybacking the Seminole County Cooperative Contract number PBA -2016-0053 and authorizes the Mayor to <br />execute said document on behalf of the City. <br />Budget Impact: Funding was budgeted in the FY 2016 Water and Sewer Utility Fund/Water Production <br />Operating Supplies account #401-0754-533.52-00 in the amount of $161,560. Appropriations beyond fiscal <br />year 2016 are subject to future City Commission approval. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution <br />16-2897. <br />
