Cooperative Purchase of a Replacement Tractor for the Public Works Stormwater Division from Everglades Farm Equipment and Related Budget Amendment # 16-052 Introduction: Consideration to purchase a replacement tractor for the Public Works Stormwater Division from Everglades Farm Equipment in the amount of $50,260.00 as a cooperative purchase under Florida Sheriffs Contract #15-13-0904 and approval of related Budget Amendment #16-052 are requested. Budget Impact: Approval of Budget Amendment # 16-052 will increase the Stormwater Heavy Equipment account #110-0740-539.67-39 and decrease the StormwaterProfessional Services account # 110-0740-53 9.3 1- 00 in the amount of $50,260.00. BA #16-052 Explanation of Request: This budget amendment is necessary to re -allocate funds for the purchase of a replacement tractor from Everglades Farm Equipment, in the amount of $50,260. This purchase price is based on a cooperative purchase under the Florida Sheriffs Contract # 15-13-0904. H. Application for Edward Byrne Memorial Assistance Local Grant FY 16 Introduction: Consideration to submit a grant application through the U.S. Department of Justice for Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant funds in the amount of $11,470 for designated use by the City of Casselberry for the purchase of a two (2) camera automatic license plate reader / rapid deployment systems is requested. Budget Impact: There is no budget impact at this time. A budget amendment will be prepared upon receipt of the grant funds.
