CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of July 11, 2016 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 14 of 14 <br />No report. <br />Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2 <br />Expressed condolences to Commissioner Solomon on the loss of her husband. <br />Commissioner Sandra Solomon - Seat No. 3: <br />Thanked everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy and caring since the passing of her <br />husband Irving. <br />Stated she had two of her credit cards hacked in the past month and urged everyone to be <br />aware of where their cards are and to regularly check their statements. <br />Advised she had been receiving multiple calls from a citizen over several months regarding a <br />light out at the Red Bug Lake Road flyover, and inquired whether Public Works could <br />arrange to have the light fixed. Dr. Brock advised that Duke Energy had been made aware of <br />this and had reportedly fixed the problem; however, he was aware that it was not fixed and <br />felt there was a communication problem. He added that a staff member had done a drive- <br />through of the City the previous evening and had found at least 30 lights not in working order, <br />and advised that staff would be following up with Duke Energy about the issue. <br />Vice Mayor Colleen Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />Expressed condolences to Commissioner Solomon on the passing of her husband Irving, and <br />noted that she and her husband Bill appreciated having been given some of Irving's books as <br />a remembrance of him. <br />Mayor Glancy — Seat No. 5: <br />Shared a story that her husband had shared with her about Commissioner Solomon's husband, <br />Irving, and added to the earlier expressions of sympathy for her loss. <br />18.
