Notice of Public Hearing: The Notice of Public Hearing for Ordinance 16-1444 was published in the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday, June 30, 2016. Staff Presentation: Development Services Manager Randy Woodruff stated that this was the second reading of Ordinance 15-1444 which proposed to amend the Official Zoning Map designation for property located at 1385 State Road 436 from City of Casselberry CG (Commercial General) to City of Casselberry PMX-MID (Planned Mixed -Use: Medium Rise). He advised that the proposed amendment was Compatible with the Major Thoroughfare Mixed Use Future Land Use designation as provided in the City of Casselberry Unified Land Development Regulations Table 2-4.2; Consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; Compatible with the surrounding mix of zonings and land uses; will improve the economic development of the area and will increase property values. Mr. Woodruff further advised that no changes had been made to Ordinance 16-1444 since it was approved on first reading at the June 13, 2016 Commission meeting. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended adoption of Ordinance 16-1444 on second reading. Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy opened the public hearing relative to Ordinance 16-1444. No one came forward to address Ordinance 16-1444. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance 16- 1444. MOTION: Commissioner Solomon moved to adopt Ordinance 16-1444 on second and final reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. 12. OTHER ITEMS No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. 13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of decorum. No one came forward.
