MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve Ordinance 16-1449 on first reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Solomon. Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5-0. D. Ordinance 16-1450 — Official Zoning Map Amendment for Property Located at 1025 Osceola Trail (ZB 16-04) Ms. Sundvall read Ordinance 16-1450 by title as follows: "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY OFFICIAL ZONING MAP AS ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2-4.3, UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED; ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF R-8 (LOW DENSITY SINGLE-FAMILY) FOR PARCEL ID 04-21-30-512- OG00-0110 AS DESCRIBED IN SECTION I OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE." Staff Presentation: Development Services Manager Randy Woodruff gave a brief overview of Ordinance 16- 1450, stating that if approved the ordinance would amend the Official Zoning Map designation of property located at 1025 Osceola Trail from RMH-8 (Low Density Single Family Mobile Homes) to R-8 (Low Density Single Family Residential). He explained that the property owner had recently combined two parcels of property, and the new aggregated property had two different zoning designations. He stated that the owner desired to sell the property and was requesting the amendment to make sure the parcel had only one zoning designation. Mr. Woodruff advised that the requested amendment was Compatible with the Low Density Residential (LDR) Future Land Use Designation; Consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; and Compatible with the surrounding mix of zoning and land uses. Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City Budget. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended approval of Ordinance 16-1450 on first reading.
