CITY OF CASSELBERR <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING <br />SEPTEMBER 15, 2016 <br />The City of Casselberry held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, September 15, 2016, at 6:30 p.m., <br />in the City of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Luis R. <br />Guzman, Special Magistrate, called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. <br />SPECIAL MAGISTRATE <br />Luis R. Guzman <br />CITY STAFF PRESENT <br />Mark Campbell, Lead Code Compliance Officer <br />Brenda Jones, Code Compliance-Coordinator/Recording Secretary <br />PLEDGE OF ALLIGIANCE <br />The Special Magistrate led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE <br />The Special Magistrate swore in those who would testify. <br />FORMAT FOR PROCEEDINGS <br />The Special Magistrate read the format for proceedings. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Special Magistrate approved minutes from the August 11, 2016 hearing. <br />STATEMENT OF EVIDENCE <br />Mark Campbell, Lead Code Compliance Officer advised that all events occurred within the corporate limits of <br />the City of Casselberry. The Officer's notes, case narratives, testimony, photographs, supporting documents and <br />PowerPoint presentation were all entered as part of the official record. <br />SUBSEQUENT CASES <br />Overgrown property; ULDR Section 3-10.3 (C)(1) <br />CE -16-002741400 Huntington Dr <br />Mark Campbell, Lead Code Compliance Officer advised that case number CE -16-00274, located at 1400 <br />Huntington Dr was found to be Non -Compliant onAugust 25, 2016 and September 15, 2016. The City requests <br />that the $50 per day fine be imposed. <br />The Special magistrate asked if the owner or representative was present for 1400 Huntington Dr. There was no <br />one present. <br />Finding of fact- The Special Magistrate made a finding in case # 16-00274, 1400 Huntington Dr. the original <br />violation a for overgrown, trash and debris, ULDR Section 3-10.3 (C)(1). A hearing was held on August 11, <br />2016 and the property was found in violation, a correction date of August 25, 2016 was ordered or a $50.00 -per - -- <br />day fine would be imposed if no compliance by that date.
