Notice of the date will be sent. <br />NEW CASES <br />Disabled inoperable unlicensed vehicles-, ULDR Section 3-10.9 F <br />CE -15-01256 420 Kentia Rd <br />Mark Campbell, Lead Code Compliance Officer read the case history into record for case number CE -15- <br />01256. The violation address is 420 Kentia Rd for violation of disabled, inoperable, unlicensed <br />vehicles; ULDR Section 3-10.9, multiple non -working vehicles on the property, one inoperable vehicle now <br />covered by car cover under the carport, car cover does not constitute compliance. <br />Notification date was January 19, 2016, correction date requested was February 2, 2016 found non-compliant. <br />Hearing notice date was June 16, 2016, correction date requested was July 13, 2016 found non-compliant, <br />follow-up inspection was July 14, 2016 found non-compliant. The property was found to be non-compliant on <br />July 14, 2016. The City requests a $50 per day fine if the violation is not brought into compliance by July 28, <br />2016. <br />The Special Magistrate looked at photos provided in the PowerPoint presentation. <br />Nathan Johnson, Code Compliance Officer advised that they removed some of the cars but then started bringing <br />them back. Mr. Johnson then described the photos, showing an unlicensed vehicle, and the same vehicle <br />covered with a tarp. Mr. Johnson advised that covering a vehicle does not constitute compliance. <br />The Special Magistrate asked if the owner or representative of 420 Kentia Rd was present. There was no one <br />present. <br />The Special Magistrate asked if there has been any contact with the property owner. <br />Mr. Johnson stated he had spoken to the wife of the tenant and the owner contacted him sometime between <br />December and June just to say she had received the notice. She was going to have the tenants correct the <br />problem. Mr. Johnson advised there have been constant complaints about this property. <br />Finding of fact- The Special Magistrate made a finding in case # 15-01256, 420 Kentia Rd. This cause having <br />come before the Special Magistrate, after due notice, having heard testimony under oath, received evidence and <br />considering all arguments it was found that the above property is in violation of ULDR Section 3-10.9 F, <br />unlicensed and/or inoperable vehicles. It was ordered that the property come into compliance by July 28, 2016, <br />if the property remains in violation of that section as of that date a fine of $50.00 per day will be imposed. This <br />case will be heard again on August 11, 2016 to determine whether compliance has been achieved. <br />Disabled inoperable unlicensed vehicles-, ULDR Section 3-10.9 <br />CE -16-00033 264 NE Triplet Dr <br />Mark Campbell, Lead Code Compliance Officer read the case history into record, case number is CE -16-00033, <br />violation address is 264 NE Triplet Dr, violation is for disabled, inoperable, unlicensed <br />vehicles; ULDR Section 3-10.9, disabled/untagged vehicle in the driveway. Notification date was March 16, <br />2016, correction date requested was April 1, 2016 found non-compliant, hearing notice date was June 16, 2016 <br />Correction date requested was July 13, 2016 found non-compliant, correction date was July 11, 2016 found in <br />compliance.
