CITY OF CASSELBERRY CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING JULY 14, 2016 The City of Casselberry held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, July 14, 2016, at 6:30 p.m., in the City of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Luis R. Guzman, Special Magistrate, called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. SPECIAL MAGISTRATE Luis R. Guzman CITY STAFF PRESENT Randy Woodruff, Development Services Manager Mark Campbell, Lead Code Compliance Officer Nathan Johnson, Code Compliance Officer Brenda Jones, Code Compliance-Coordinator/Recording Secretary PLEDGE OF ALLIGIANCE The Special Magistrate led the Pledge of Allegiance. SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE The Special Magistrate swore in those who would testify. FORMAT FOR PROCEEDINGS The Special Magistrate read the format for proceedings. APPROVAL OF MINUTES The Special Magistrate approved minutes from the June 9, 2016 hearing. STATEMENT OF EVIDENCE Mark Campbell, Lead Code Compliance Officer advised that all events occurred within the corporate limits of the City of Casselberry. The Officer's notes, case narratives, testimony, photographs, supporting documents and PowerPoint presentation were all entered as part of the official record. SUBSEQUENT CASES General maintenance; ULDR Section 3-10.3 CE -15-00042 250 Aurora Cir Mark Campbell, Lead Code Compliance Officer advised that at the February 11, 2016 hearing the Special Magistrate found this property to be in violation and a date of July 13, 2016 was given for compliance or a $50 per day fine would be imposed. The property was found non -complaint on July 13, 2016 and July 14, 2016. The City requests that the $50 per day fine be imposed. The Special Magistrate looked at photos provided in the PowerPoint presentation. The Special Magistrate asked if the owner of 250 Aurora Cir was present. There was no one present. 11 Page
