The Fire Chief shall investigate and recommend _to the City Commission <br />additional provisions or amendments to existing provisions of this Fire Prevention <br />Code or other ordinances as he or she may deem necessary for safeguarding life <br />and property against fire. <br />Oc The Fire Chief or designee shall perform all inspections required pursuant <br />to the Fire Prevention Code. <br />Section 8. Repeal of Section 42-4 of the City Code. That Section 42-4 "Open <br />Burning" of Article I, "In General" of Chapter 42, "Fire Protection and Prevention" of the City <br />of Casselberry Code of Ordinances is hereby repealed in its entirety. <br />Section 9. Section 42-7 of the City Code Amended. That Section 42-7 "Fire Alarm <br />System Required for Certain Buildings" of Article I, "In General" of Chapter 42, "Fire <br />Protection and Prevention" of the City of Casselberry Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br />Sec. 42-7. - Fire alarm system required for certain buildings. <br />An approved fire alarm system connected to an alarm office approved by the Fire <br />Chief-44he-C4y shall be installed in all buildings of concentrated use, including <br />all buildings equipped with fire sprinklers that are required by all codes adopted <br />by the City, except single-family dwellings. <br />Section 10. Section 42-31 of the City Code Amended. That Section 42-31 <br />"Adoption of Codes and Standards" of Article II, "Fire Prevention Code" of Chapter 42, "Fire <br />Protection and Prevention" of the City of Casselberry Code of Ordinances is hereby amended to <br />read as follows: <br />Sec. 42-31. - Adoption of codes and standards. <br />Section 85-3 et seq. of the Seminole County Code of Ordinances, is hereby <br />adopted by reference as if fully set forth herein. =42u ^„^n* +^ F.S. § 633 022, th <br />' As of the effective date of Ordinance No. 16-1441 Section 85-3 of the Seminole County Code <br />of Ordinances adopts the Florida Fire Prevention Code, as adopted by the State Fire Marshal <br />pursuant to Florida Statutes, Chapter 633, as amended from time to time. <br />Page 8 of 15 <br />
