Fire alarm system means any mechanical, electrical or radio -controlled device <br />which is designed to emit a sound or transmit a signal or message when activated <br />or any such device which emits a sound and transmits a signal or message when <br />activated because of smoke, heat or fire. Without limiting the generality of the <br />foregoing, alarm systems shall be deemed to include audible alarms at the site of <br />the installation of the detection device, proprietor alarms and automatic telephone <br />direct dial devices or digital alarm communicator systems. A single station alarm <br />device shall not be deemed to be an alarm system under this Chapter. <br />Fire Chief means the Fire Chief of the Seminole County Fire Department. <br />Fire Devartment means the Seminole Countv Fire Department. <br />Fire Marshal means the Seminole Countv Fire Marshal. <br />Owner means any person who owns the premises in which an alarm system is <br />installed or the person or persons who lease, operate, occupy or manage the <br />premises. <br />Premises means any building, structure or combination of buildings and structures <br />which serve as dwelling units, single-family or combination thereof which is used <br />for any purpose other than residential, wherein an alarm system is installed. <br />pr2i�lfS$S cEjtfifed t6ziaifftcffiff i aH Opefati:Ve eE) iE)H Pti« Stfftftt .,+.,+„+ <br />ordifflanee, rule of fegula4ion of any go <br />&Pwe shall mean hand delivery by a fepfesef444,e ef the Fife DepaAmet4 to <br />owner of attthafized representative whe responded to the premises. 4 the ow <br />Page 6 of 15 <br />
