CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of May 9, 2016 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 10 of 11 <br />assessment for Seat Number 4 was $220.10 and the qualifying fee and assessment for Seat <br />Number 5 was $287.40. She noted that City Hall would be open on Friday, May 20, 2016 <br />from 7:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. for election qualifying purposes only. <br />Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: <br />Thanked everyone who had participated in and supported Earth Fest 2016 held on Saturday, <br />April 30, 2016 at Secret Lake Park. He stated that both vendors and attendees had been very <br />happy with the event and it had been a great success. He added that he was looking forward <br />to an even larger event for Earth Fest 2017. <br />Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2 <br />No report. <br />Commissioner Sandra Solomon - Seat No. 3: <br />Reported she had also attended Earth Fest on Saturday, April 30, 2016, although only for a <br />short time, and agreed that it had been a super event. She stated she had received a lot of <br />positive comments about the event and thanked everyone who worked on it. <br />Vice Mayor Colleen Hufford — Seat No. 4: <br />® Agreed that Earth Fest had been a phenomenal event and congratulated Commissioner <br />Aramendia, Mr. Bill Hufford, Public Works Department staff and all those that worked to <br />make it a successful event. <br />® Reported she had attended a Relay for Life fundraising event on Saturday, May 5, 2016 at <br />Metro Life Church which was co- sponsored by the Cities of Casselberry and Maitland. She <br />expressed appreciation to Metro Life Church for providing the location, and stated that it was <br />a great event. <br />a Congratulated the Finance Department on receiving the Distinguished Budget Presentation <br />Award for Fiscal Year 2015 -2016 and stated she was glad the City was able to participate in <br />recognizing National Public Works Week 2016 and National Police Week 2016, noting the <br />City is fortunate to have such a great staff. <br />® Thanked Representative Cortes for presenting the legislative update. <br />Mayor Glancy — Seat No. 5: <br />Congratulated Commissioner Aramendia, Mr. Bill Hufford and all those who worked to make <br />
