The ballot titles, questions and proposed <br />Charter changes are set forth as follows: <br />City Charter Amendment 1: <br />HOUSEKEEPING. <br />Shall Article IV, Section 4.02 be amended to eliminate the obsolete portion that <br />provided the transition language when the City Commission switched to four year <br />terms in 2000, and to clarify election times for Commissioners? <br />YES for approval ❑ <br />NO for rejection ❑ <br />Section 4.02. - Creation of City Commission; composition; term. <br />There is hereby created a City Commission of the City of Casselberry consisting of five members; four <br />Commissioners and a Mayor, who shall also be known as a Commissioner. Each member of the City Commission <br />shall be elected at large in the manner provided in this Charter and shall hold office for a term of four years, or until <br />their successors are elected and certified. No member of the City Commission shall serve more than three <br />consecutive terms. <br />The regular election of Commissioners in Seats 4 and 5 ar3d kthe Mayor /CommissionerA shall be held in even <br />numbered years, the same years as to the Re Ed and United States presidential elections, <br />and the regular election of Commissioners in Seats 1. 21 and 3 will be held in the alternate even numbered years to <br />coincide with the Florida gubernatorial elections. The City Commission shall have staggered terms.
