to be held on August 30, 2016. SECTION 2. Amendments to City Charter. The ballot titles, questions and proposed Charter changes are set forth as follows: City Charter Amendment 1: HOUSEKEEPING. Shall Article IV, Section 4.02 be amended to eliminate the obsolete portion that provided the transition language when the City Commission switched to four year terms in 2000, and to clarify election times for Commissioners? YES for approval ❑ NO for rejection ❑ Section 4.02. - Creation of City Commission; composition; term. There is hereby created a City Commission of the City of Casselberry consisting of five members; four Commissioners and a Mayor, who shall also be known as a Commissioner. Each member of the City Commission shall be elected at large in the manner provided in this Charter and shall hold office for a term of four years, or until their successors are elected and certified. No member of the City Commission shall serve more than three consecutive terms. The regular election of Commissioners in Seats 4 and 5 ar3d kthe Mayor /CommissionerA shall be held in even numbered years, the same years as to the Re Ed and United States presidential elections, and the regular election of Commissioners in Seats 1. 21 and 3 will be held in the alternate even numbered years to coincide with the Florida gubernatorial elections. The City Commission shall have staggered terms. Shall Article IV, Section 4.05 of the City Charter of the City of Casselberry be amended to clarify that the vice mayor will be elected annually by the City Commission at the first regular City Commission meeting in December, which will be after the City elections?
