CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of February 22, 2016 — Regular Meeting Page 16 of 17 17. CITY COMNIISSIONERS' REPORTS /COMMENTS Commissioner Anthony Aramendia - Seat No. 1: No report. Commissioner Andrew Meadows — Seat No. 2 No report. Commissioner Sandra Solomon - Seat No. 3 • Advised she had noticed that the house at 201 Carriage Hill Drive owned by the City had been demolished and the site cleared up, and commended the Public Works Department for their efforts. Vice Mayor Colleen Hufford — Seat No. 4: • Reported she had attended the one -year anniversary of Bowigens Beer Company and it was a nice event. She stated they are hoping to expand at some point. • Advised that the Orlando Business Journal had printed a very nice article about City Manager Randy Newlon and the Lake Concord Park project. She added that she would like to seethe City continue to pursue new development while there is momentum from the success of this project. Mayor Glancy — Seat No. 5: Reported she had recently attended a meeting of Private Business Association of Seminole (PBAS), to which the "east side" mayors had been invited to share information about their cities. She stated she had presented an overview of the whole city, emphasizing the chain of lakes and the beautiful topography of the City. She further stated she given an update on the City's commercial district and recent successes, including the Lake Concord Park project. Mr. Newlon added that Mayor Glancy's presentation on the City had been very well received by everyone in attendance at the meeting. Advised she had attended the State of the County luncheon on February 18, 2016 at which County Commissioner /Chairman John Horan had been the speaker. She noted that her fellow Commissioners had also attended the luncheon and everyone agreed it had been a very good event and Commissioner Horan had done a great job. 18. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, Mayor Glancy adjourned the meeting at 7:51 p.m.
