CASSELBERRY CITY CONINIISSION <br />Minutes of August 10, 2015 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 14 of 15 <br />Discussion: A brief discussion ensued regarding possibilities for buffering components for the proposed <br />development. The Commission also expressed appreciation to the residents who had come to express their <br />concerns at the meeting. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />12. OTHER ITEMS <br />No items were presented on this agenda. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. The following individual came forward: <br />Mr. Dan Manheim, 247 Shady Hollow, voiced concerns about increases in utility taxes and <br />franchise fees, and suggested the City should look into possibly lowering those taxes and fees <br />and increasing ad valorem taxes instead if additional revenues were needed for City operations. <br />No one else came forward. <br />14. CITY MANAGER'S REPORT <br />• Advised that the closing on the Casselberry Golf Club was scheduled for Friday, August 14, 2015, and <br />that once that occurred Integrity Golf Company would take over operation of the golf course. <br />• Reminded everyone that the Art & Music in the Park and Food Truck Bazaar event scheduled for Friday, <br />August 14, 2015 from 6:00 -9:00 p.m. had been moved from Lake Concord Park to Secret Lake Park. <br />• Reminded everyone of the 5`" Annual Runyak event Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 8:00 a.m, at Secret <br />Lake Park. <br />• Advised he had been invited to speak at the Casselberry Rotary Club breakfast meeting on Wednesday, <br />August 19, 2015. <br />15.
