CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING <br />DECEMBER 10, 2015 <br />The City of Casselbery held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, December 10, 2015, at 6:30 p.m., in the <br />City of Casselbery Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselbeny, Florida. Luis R. Guzman, Special <br />Magistrate, called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />SPECIAL MAGISTRATE <br />Luis R. Guzman <br />PLEDGE OF ALLIGIANCE <br />FORMAT FOR PROCEEDINGS <br />The Special Magistrate read the format for proceedings. <br />SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE <br />The Special Magistrate swore in those who would testify. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Special Magistrate approved minutes from the October 8, 2015 hearing. <br />INTRODUCTION OF CASES <br />Nathan Johnson, Code Compliance Officer advised that all events occurred within the corporate limits of the City of <br />Casselbery. The Officer's notes, case narratives, testimony, photographs, supporting documents and PowerPoint <br />presentation were all entered as part of the official record. <br />CITY STAFF PRESENT <br />Randy Woodruff, Development Services Manager <br />Nathan Johnson, Code Compliance Officer <br />Brenda Jones, Code Compliance- Coordinator/Recording Secretary <br />Mr. Johnson asked the Special Magistrate if the agenda could be taken out of order to accommodate those present in the <br />audience. <br />REDUCTION REQUEST <br />Overgrown _ property, ULDR Section 3 -10.3 <br />• CE -12 -01196 427 Elm Dr <br />Nathan Johnson, Code Compliance Officer gave testimony. Current lien amount: $9,825, administrative cost and claim <br />$725.27 (paid), requested reduction amount to $500.00 as requested <br />This lien was filed against former owner, Frances Nair, the current owner Surna Construction Group was not the violator. <br />The City recommends a reduction to the requested amount of $500.00. This was a foreclosure property. All other fees <br />associated with this address have also been paid, $552.00, making the total paid $ 1,277.27. <br />The Special Magistrate asked if the owner /representative was present. A representative was present. <br />Edward Terry, 550 Saint Dunstan Way, Winter Park, FL advised he is one of the owners of the property. <br />I I P a g e <br />
