CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING <br />JANUARY 14, 2016 <br />The City of Casselberry held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, January 14, 2016, at 6:30 p.m., in the City <br />of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Luis R. Guzman, Special Magistrate, <br />called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br />SPECIAL MAGISTRATE <br />Luis R. Guzman <br />FORMAT FOR PROCEEDINGS <br />The Special Magistrate read the format for proceedings. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLIGIANCE <br />SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE <br />The Special Magistrate swore in those who would testify. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Special Magistrate approved minutes from the December 10, 2015. <br />CITY STAFF PRESENT <br />Randy Woodruff, Development Services Manager <br />Brenda Jones, Code Compliance- Coordinator/Recording Secretary <br />3mily Hanna, Planner <br />INTRODUCTION OF CASES <br />Randy Woodruff, Development Services Manager advised that all events occurred within the corporate limits of the City <br />of Casselberry. The Officer's notes, case narratives, testimony, photographs, supporting documents and PowerPoint <br />presentation were all entered as part of the official record. <br />SUBSEQUENT CASE <br />Designated Parking, ULDR Section 3- 10.9(B)(1) <br />® CE -15 -00888 1955 Kewamiee Trl <br />Randy Woodruff, Development Services Manager gave testimony. This case came before the Special Magistrate on <br />December 10, 2015, property was to be in compliance by December 24, 2015 or a $25.00 per fine be imposed. An <br />inspection on January 6, 2016 was completed and the violation was found to not be corrected. The fine of $25.00 per day <br />should be imposed starting December 24, 2015. <br />The Special Magistrate asked is the owner of 1955 Kewaunee Trl was in the audience. There was no one present. <br />FINDING OF FACT: The Special Magistrate made a finding in case # 15- 00888. In a photograph date January 6, 2016 <br />the Special Magistrate observed that the Designated Parking area at 1955 Kewaunee Trl has not been corrected. Evidence <br />indicates that this case came up for hearing on December 10, 2015, there was a finding of violation and ordered to come <br />into compliance by 1 pm, December 24, 2015 or a fine of $25.00 pr day would be imposed. Based on testimony, photos <br />and evidence, it was found that the property did not come into compliance by that time and date and a fine of $25.00 per <br />day starting on December 24, 2015 to be imposed and continue to run until there is compliance. <br />NEW CASE /STANDING ORDER <br />1IPage <br />
