CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of April 13,2015 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 5 of 16 <br />Account Number <br />Increase: <br />104- 0610 - 521.82 -00 <br />104 - 0000 - 389.90 -00 <br />Account Description Amount <br />Aids to Private Organizations $1,000 <br />Other Non - Operating Sources $1,000 <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Interim Police Chief recommended approval of the donation to <br />Lyman High School for $1,000 and related Budget Amendment #15 -034. <br />Audience Participation: No one came forward to address any item on the Consent Agenda. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Solomon moved to approve the Consent Agenda, as presented. <br />Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. Motion carried <br />unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />1 <br />A. Future Agenda Items <br />Commissioner Hufford suggested that a presentation on the possibility of a entering into a joint planning <br />agreement with Seminole County would be helpful to determine whether such an agreement would benefitthe <br />City in future planning. She noted that the only cost to the City would be in staff time. Mr. Newlon advised <br />that he had actually reached out to Oviedo City Manager Bryan Cobb and asked for an opportunity to meet <br />with him to learn more about Oviedo's agreement with the County in an effort to become more educated using <br />a real example in this vicinity. He added that staff would put something together and bring it back to the <br />Commission as soon as possible. <br />B. Municipal Advisory Committee (Metroplan ) Report <br />No report. <br />C.
