CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of April 27, 2015 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 2 of 19 <br />4. ROLL CALL <br />The City Clerk called the roll of Elected Officials. All were present. <br />5. MINUTES <br />A. Minutes of April 13, 2015 — Regular Meeting <br />MOTION: Commissioner Aramendia moved to approve the minutes of the April 13, 2015 <br />Regular Meeting, as presented. Motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Solomon. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />r 1� <br />A. Mayor's Proclamation — "Children's Mental Health Awareness Month" <br />Mayor Glancy read into the record and presented a proclamation to representatives of The Children's Cabinet <br />of Seminole County proclaiming the month of May 2015 as Children's Mental Health Awareness Month in the <br />City of Casselberry. Those present representing The Children's Cabinet were Ms. Judy Creel of Above and <br />Beyond Children and Community Services, Ms. Elizabeth Kurtz of The Grove Counseling Center, and Mr. <br />Felipe Sanchez of Community Based Care, who then presented the Commission with green Children's Mental <br />Health Matters ribbons and encouraged all those present to support children's mental health awareness. They <br />suggested that anyone interested in learning more about their efforts or in volunteering could get information <br />from their website, seminolechildren.org; their Facebook page, Children's Mental Health Matters Seminole <br />County; their Instagram site, SemCoKids #ChildrensMentalHealthMatters; or by calling 2 -1 -1, a fi•ee resource <br />offered by United Way. They also encouraged everyone to wear green on May 7, 2015, which was National <br />Children's Mental Health Awareness Day. <br />B. Presentation: Resolution 15 -2725 — Recognizing the Retirement of Collin G. Martin <br />City Clerk Donna Gardner read Resolution 15 -2725 into the record, after which Mayor Glancy presented the <br />framed original Resolution to Collin G. Martin, formally recognizing and expressing appreciation for his 26 <br />years of public service in the Public Works Department, and congratulating him on his retirement from the City <br />of Casselberry. <br />C. Presentation: Resolution 15 -2726 — Recognizing the Retirement ofDanU F. Carson <br />City Clerk Donna Gardner read Resolution 15 -2726 into the record, after which Mayor Glancy presented the <br />framed original Resolution to Danny F. Carson, formally recognizing and expressing appreciation for his more <br />than 30 years of public service in the Public Works Department, and congratulating him on his retirement from <br />the City of Casselberry. <br />
