CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of April 27, 2015— Regular Meeting <br />Page 19 of 19 <br />• Commended Mayor Glancy and the Casselberry Woman's Club on a successful fashion show. <br />Vice Mayor Solomon - Seat No. 3: <br />Stated she agreed with Commissioner Hufford regarding digital billboards and would continue to <br />support her efforts. She suggested that Commissioner Hufford should try and get on the agenda for <br />the next Seminole County CRA meeting to express her views about the issue. <br />Inquired about the status of the Seminole State College banners and was advised that work on the <br />necessary interlocal agreement was ongoing and Mr. Newlon would bring it to the Commission for <br />consideration as soon as possible. <br />Shared that she had finally attended a show at the new Doctor Phillips Performing Arts Center in <br />Orlando and it was wonderful. She added that she was also impressed with the improvements that had <br />been made in the area surrounding the Center and felt it was a great addition to the Central Florida <br />community. <br />Mayor Glancy — Seat No. 5: <br />• Added that she also supports Commissioner Hufford's efforts regarding digital signage and restricting <br />advertising along the U.S. Highway 17 -92 corridor, and thanked her for that and for her forward - <br />thinking with regard to advertising as it relates to the SunRail stations and routes. <br />18.
