CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION <br />Minutes of February 8, 2016 — Regular Meeting <br />Page 11 of 12 <br />Budget Impact: There is no impact to the City budget. <br />Recommendation: The City Manager and the Community Development Director recommended adoption of <br />Ordinance 16 -1438 on second reading. <br />Public Hearing: Mayor Glancy opened the public hearing relative to Ordinance 16 -1438. No one came <br />forward to address Ordinance 16 -1438. Mayor Glancy closed the public hearing relative to Ordinance 16- <br />1438. <br />MOTION: Vice Mayor Hufford moved to adopt Ordinance 16 -1438 on second and final <br />reading, as presented. Motion was seconded by Commissioner Aramendia. <br />Motion carried unanimously by voice vote 5 -0. <br />12. OTHER ITEMS <br />No items were presented for consideration on this agenda. <br />13. CITIZENS' COMMENTS <br />Mayor Glancy announced persons that wished to make comment or make inquiry on any matter not on the <br />agenda, may request to be recognized during Citizens' Comments. Mayor Glancy announced the rules of <br />decorum. The following individuals came forward: <br />Mr. Larry Littrell, 124 North Lost Lake Lane, advised again that there was a lot of community <br />support for a skate park project in the City of Casselberry, and he understood that a proposed <br />skate park would be included as part of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan which was to be <br />prepared. He also expressed concern that a prospective commission candidate would not be <br />able to qualify on Friday of the third week in May, due to the City's four -day work week. <br />City Clerk Donna Gardner advised that City Hall is opened for election qualifying purposes <br />only on that Friday, from 7:00 a.m, to 12:00 noon. <br />No one else came forward. <br />14.
