WHEREAS, the Casselberry City Commission formally adopted Ordinance 02 -1071 on December 9, 2002 to provide development and design standards in the Seminola Boulevard Overlay District SB -2 that have been codified within the Unified Land Development Regulations (ULDR) in Section 2 -7.26; and WHEREAS, the guidelines require mail delivery to be made to the door of a residential unit or a kiosk; and WHEREAS, the single family residents prefer to receive mail delivery at the street adjacent to their dwelling units; and WHEREAS, the Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission / Local Planning Agency, reviewed this ordinance and found it to be consistent with the City's Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry held a duly noticed public hearing on the proposed changes set forth herein and considered advice of staff, citizens, and all interested parties, and after complete deliberation, hereby finds the requested changes serve a legitimate governmental interest in preserving the quality of urban life by encouraging the redevelopment of infill properties and is consistent with the City of Casselberry's Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, words with double underlined type shall constitute additions to the original text and strike through shall constitute deletions to the original text. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I. The Casselberry Unified Land Development Regulations, Part III, Chapter II, Article VII, Section 2 -7.26, " Seminola Boulevard Overlay District (SB -2) Design Guidelines ", shall be amended as follows: Page 2 of 4 Ordinance 08 -1233
