the applicant's good character and business responsibility, other satisfactory <br />evidence of good character and business responsibility of the applicant; and <br />b. Two photographs of the applicant which shall have been taken within sixty (60) <br />days immediately prior to the date of filing of the application. The photographs <br />shall show, minimally, the head and shoulders of the applicant in a clear and <br />distinguishing manner. <br />c. The County solicitation permit required by Florida Statutes. <br />d. The City's current Business Tax Receipt. <br />(b) Fee. All persons except those <br />exempted by Section 26 -69 shall, at the time of filing the application, <br />pay to the City a non - refundable fee of $29:90 100 to cover the <br />clerical cost and the cost of investigating the facts stated in the application. <br />(c) Denial of Permit. Upon the investigations and review of the application by the Community <br />Development Department and the Police Chief, the City may refuse to issue a permit to the applicant for any <br />of the following reasons: <br />(5) The applicant has failed to obtain the required County sr and City GGGYpationoi roenoe <br />Business Tax Receipt or the County's home solicitation sale permit required by state <br />law pursuant to F.S. ch. 501, unless exempt from same. <br />6) The applicant previously received a solicitors permit and did not adhere to the terms of <br />the permit, as documented by police reports. <br />(d) Falsification of information. Any falsification of the information given in the application is <br />grounds for denial, suspension or revocation of a permit. Any changes in the information given in the <br />application must be furnished in a notarized affidavit filed with the Community Development Department, <br />SECTION VIII: Section 26 -85, "Expiration," of Chapter 26 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of <br />Casselberry, is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Sec. 26 -85. Expiration, renewal and non - transferability. <br />(a) Expiration and Term. All permits issued under this Division shall expire On the date specified in <br />the permit or sixty (60) Arnie from the date of issuance whinhever onnYrS first be good for a maximum of two <br />dam. <br />(b) Lost or destroyed permits.
