ORDINANCE 14 -1405 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, <br />TO AMEND THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY COMPREHENSIVE <br />PLAN, BY AMENDING THE OFFICIAL FUTURE LAND USE <br />MAP ESTABLISHING THE FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION <br />OF MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL FOR THE PARCELS <br />DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1 OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING <br />FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, CODIFICATION AND AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the properties described in Section 1 are within the corporate <br />boundaries of the City of Casselberry; and <br />WHEREAS, such properties should be consistent with land uses of neighboring <br />parcels to allow for the most appropriate future development of the site; and <br />WHEREAS, properties provided in Section 1 of this ordinance are less than 10 <br />acres, requiring a small scale amendment to the Comprehensive Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, Section 163.3187, Florida Statutes, establishes a process for <br />adoption of small scale comprehensive plan amendments including amendments to the <br />Future Land Use (FLU) map; and <br />WHEREAS, the Casselberry Planning and Zoning Commission/Local Planning <br />Agency has held a public hearing with due public notice to consider this future land use <br />map amendment; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, Florida, held a <br />public hearing with due public notice to consider the future land use map amendment and <br />has determined that the future land use designation of said property provided in Section <br />1, herein, shall be established as Medium Density Residential, as that classification is <br />defined in Articles IV and V of Chapter II, as amended and supplemented, of the Unified <br />Land Development Regulations, Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, Florida; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, with double underlined type shall constitute additions to the original <br />text and stfike thfough shall constitute deletions to the original text. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF <br />THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That the Official Future Land Use Map as established in the Future <br />Land Use Element of the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Casselberry, Florida, as <br />amended and supplemented for the subject properties, is hereby amended by changing the <br />
