26. Sponsorships. <br />27. Standardized equipment annual maintenance repairs and support costs. <br />28. Utilities. <br />29. Workshop and seminar registration, attendance, training, strategic <br />planning and/or costs of job - related travel. <br />1.2 SEVERABILITY <br />If any section of this Policy, or any application thereof, to any Person or circumstance is held <br />invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other sections or applications of this Policy, which can be <br />given effect without the invalid section or application, and to this end, the sections or <br />applications of this Policy are declared to be severable. <br />1.3 WAIVER OF REQUIREMENTS <br />The City Commission may, when deemed to be in the best interest of the City and not inconsistent <br />with law, waive any or all requirements or provisions set forth in this Policy and proceed <br />thereafter to take whatever action is deemed to be in the best interest of the City. <br />1.4 CHANGES IN LAWS AND REGULATIONS <br />In the event an applicable law or regulation is modified or eliminated, or a new law or regulation is <br />adopted, the revised law or regulation shall, to the extent inconsistent with this Policy, automatically <br />supersede this Policy. <br />1.5 REQUIREMENT OF GOOD FAITH <br />This Policy requires all parties involved in the Solicitation, Negotiation, performance, or <br />administration of City Contracts to act in good faith. <br />1.6 CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION <br />Confidential information shall be administered in accordance with the Public Records Act, Chapter <br />119, Florida Statutes, as amended. Such information furnished by a Bidder or Respondent shall not <br />be disclosed by the City outside of the Purchasing Division, or requesting <br />Division/Department/Offrce, without prior written consent by the Bidder or Respondent, unless <br />required by law. All other information submitted by a Bidder or Respondent shall be subject to <br />public records right of access requirements as stated in Chapter 119, Florida Statutes as amended. <br />THE REMAINDER OF THIS PAGE LEFT INTENTIONALLY BLANK <br />Page 6 <br />
