Based upon a Goo-le Street ViewTM mapping service photograph dated June 2013, the subject violation was found to be <br />corrected and the property in compliance of ULDR Section 3- 10.9.F. The fine from July 9, 2012, to June 1, 2013, (327 <br />days) totals $8,175. A reduction of this fine to $1,000 covers staff time and costs involved. <br />On October 23, 2014, the property owner has submitted a payment of $1,000 in addition to the $52.30 reduction request <br />filing fee. The property owner is in the process of refinancing the home, which cannot be completed until this lien is <br />settled. The City Commission will consider the recommendation by the Special Magistrate and determine the lien amount <br />reduction. <br />The Special Magistrate asked if the property owners of 1408 Tipton Rd were present. The owners were not present. <br />FINDING OF FACT: The Special Magistrate made a finding that based the evidence entered into record the reduction to <br />$1,000 is reasonable considering the mitigating circumstances, as well as the property owner already submitting payment <br />of $1,000. This is the recommendation to the City Commission.
