CITY OF CASSELBERRY <br />CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING <br />AUGUST 14, 2014 <br />The City of Casselberry held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, August 14, 2014, at 6:30 <br />p.m., in the City of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. <br />Luis R. Guzman, Special Magistrate, called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. <br />SPECIAL MAGISTRATE: <br />Luis R. Guzman <br />PLEDGE OF ALLIGMNCE <br />SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE <br />The Special Magistrate swore in those who would testify. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Special Magistrate approved minutes from the July 10, 2014 hearing. <br />FORMAT FOR PROCEEDINGS <br />The Special Magistrate read the format for proceedings. <br />CITY STAFF PRESENT: <br />Chad Lingenfelter, Development Services Manager <br />Brenda Jones, Code Compliance - Coordinator <br />INTRODUCTION OF CASES <br />Chad Lingenfelter, Development Services Manager, advised that all events occurred within the corporate <br />limits of the City of Casselberry. The Officer's notes, case narratives, testimony, photographs, supporting <br />documents and PowerPoint presentation were all entered as part of the official record. <br />SUBSEQUENT HEARINGS NOT IN COMPLIANCE <br />Swimming pool standards, ULDR Section 3 -10 <br />• CE -14 -00499 370 Lilac Rd <br />Mr. Lingenfelter advised the Special Magistrate that the above case was non - compliant by the date set <br />and fines should be imposed. <br />FINDING OF FACT: The Special Magistrate made a finding that an Order was entered on 7/10/ 2014, <br />that the property was in violation and was required to come into compliance by 1pm 7/24/ 2014 or a fine <br />of $50.00 per day would accrue. The property is not in compliance and the fine should be imposed. <br />General maintenance, ULDR Section 3 -10.3 <br />• CE -14 -00583 1958 Spring St <br />Mr. Lingenfelter advised the Special Magistrate that the above case was non - compliant by the date set <br />and fines should be imposed. <br />FINDING OF FACT: The Special Magistrate made a finding that the property was in violation and was <br />required to come into compliance by 1pm 7/24/ 2014 or a fine of $25.00 per day would accrue.
