There was nothing else.
Mr. Guzman asked Officer Hull if he had conferred with either Mr. Keller.
Officer Hull advised that he has not had contact but Brenda Jones may have.
Mr. Guzman asked if Officer Hull had a chance to read the email statement from Mr. Keller.
Officer Hull stated yes he has and it seemed like the same story the City was given a year ago.
Brenda Jones Acting Code Compliance Supervisor advised she had spoken to Nicholas Keller today around
4:30pm; Ms. Jones spoke at length about why the City was taking this matter back to be heard. In October
2013 the City was going to pursue foreclosure, at that time Mr. Keller pleaded for it not to be taken. It was
decided in October 2013 that the matter would be held until the first of the year 2014. The first of the year
came and Ms. Jones emailed Mr. Keller and he never wrote back. Mr. Keller said he never got the email. Ms.
Jones explained to Mr. Keller that we could no longer hold off and if he does have a contractor and they get a
permit, once the work is done the City would stop the foreclosure.
Mr. Guzman asked if the foreclosure is granted and Mr. Keller gets the permit what is the situation then.
3 1 P a g e
