CITY OF CASSELBERRY CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING MARCH 13, 2014 The City of Casselberry held its regular Code Enforcement hearing Thursday, March 13, 2014, at 6:30 p.m., in the City of Casselberry Commission Chambers, 95 Triplet Lake Drive, Casselberry, Florida. Mr. Guzman, Special Magistrate, called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. PLEDGE OF ALLIGIANCE ROLL CALL SPECIAL MAGISTRATE: Luis R. Guzman CITY STAFF PRESENT: Sandra Smith, AICP, Community Development Director Brenda Jones, Acting Code Compliance Supervisor/Recording Secretary Todd Hull, Code Compliance Officer Carlos Hernandez, Code Compliance Officer APPROVAL OF MINUTES The minutes from the January 9, 2014 meeting were not approved; they will be approved at a future hearing after Mr. Guzman listens to the recording. SWEARING IN OF THOSE IN ATTENDANCE Mr. Guzman swore in those who would testify. INTRODUCTION OF CASES Mr. Hull, Code Compliance Officer, advised that all events occurred within the corporate limits of the City of Casselberry. The Officer's notes, case narratives, testimony, photographs, supporting documents and PowerPoint presentation were all entered as part of the official record. SUBSEQUENT HEARINGS — IN COMPLIANCE Recreational equipment, ULDR Section 3 -10.9 (C) 0 CE -13 -01278 385 Piney Ridge Rd Mr. Guzman read this case into record. Officer Hull advised the Magistrate that the above case was in compliance by the date set and no fine should be imposed. FINDING OF FACT: Mr. Guzman made a finding that no fine should be imposed in the above case. SUBSEQUENT HEARINGS — NOT COMPLIANT Overgrown/trash and debris, ULDR Section 3 -10.3 • CE -13 -01255 1741 Lake Dr Mr. Guzman read this case into record. Mr. Hull advised the Magistrate that the above case was not in compliance by the date set by the Board, the property has since come into compliance and fine should be imposed. 1IPage
