EL. F. Road construction signage. The following signs shall be allowed for businesses whose primary roadway <br />is SR 436, US HWY 17 -92, or Seminola Boulevard during any period of road construction in front of said <br />business space projected to last for a period of six months or more and involving more than one -half mile of <br />continuous roadway. Such signs are allowed only for the duration of the roadway construction but not to <br />exceed 24 months unless an extension is granted by the City. A tenant or premises shall have a permitted <br />permanent sign prior to issuance of a permit for a temporary sign for road construction. <br />SECTION 3. That Section 3 -16.7, General Provisions, Part III Unified Land Development <br />Regulations, Chapter III Performance Criteria, Article XVI Signs, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of <br />Casselberry, Florida shall be amended as follows: <br />E. Exempted. Signs do not include works of art. <br />SECTION 4. That Section 3 -16.8, Prohibited Signs, Part III Unified Land Development Regulations, <br />Chapter III Performance Criteria, Article XVI Signs, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Casselberry, <br />Florida shall be amended as follows: <br />8. - Banners pennants balloons and strearn Attention getting devices except as provided in <br />.. Section 3- 16.4.C, Section 3- 16.4.D and Section 3- 16A.F. <br />SECTION 5: CODIFICATION. It is the intention of the City Commission of the City of Casselberry, <br />Florida, and it is hereby ordained that the provisions of this Ordinance shall become and be made a part of <br />the Code of Ordinance of the City of Casselberry, Florida; that the Sections of this Ordinance may be <br />renumbered or re- lettered to accomplish such intention; that the word, "Ordinance" may be changed to <br />"Section," "Article," or other appropriate word. <br />SECTION 6: CONFLICTS. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with any of the <br />provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 7: SEVERABILITY. If any Section or portion of a Section of this Ordinance proves to be <br />invalid, unlawful, or unconstitutional, it shall not be held to invalidate or impair the validity, force, or effect of <br />any other Section or part of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 8: EFFECTIVE DATE.
