Planning & Zoning Commission/ <br />Local Planning Agency <br />October 9, 2013 <br />Page 9 <br />Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr. Casselberry said he <br />disagreed with Mr. Fraleigh regarding residential tree replacement due to the cost. He felt that the landscape regulations <br />make trees a liability instead of an asset. Mr. Casselberry suggested providing tree education to the community. He said <br />trees help save money on electric costs when placed adjacent to homes. <br />Mr. Meadows asked for a motion. Mr. Guzman made a motion that the Planning and Zoning Commission request <br />staff schedule a public workshop to discuss landscape requirements and the date of the workshop to be determined by staff. <br />Mr. Van Meter seconded the motion.
