Resolution 14 -2563 — Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the Standard Consultant Agreement with ARCADIS, U.S., Inc. for Design Services for Water Main and Gravity Sewer Improvements "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO. 1 TO THE STANDARD CONSULTANT AGREEMENT WITH ARCADIS, U.S., INC. FOR DESIGN SERVICES FOR WATER MAIN AND GRAVITY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 14 -2563 approves Supplemental Agreement No. 1 to the Standard Consultant Agreement with ARCADIS, U.S., Inc. for engineering and design services for water main and gravity sewer improvements in the amount of $235,185.90, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. Budget Impact: Necessary funding of an amount not to exceed $235,185.90 for the water main design services were provided in the FY 2014 budget and are available in the Water and Sewer Capital Improvement Fund Distribution and Collection Infrastructure Account #403 - 0751 - 536.64 -40. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution 14 -2563. E. Resolution 14 -2564 — Amendment No. 1 to Supplemental Agreement No. 2 with CDM Smith, Inc. for Triplet Lake Drive Design Support "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO.2 WITH CDM SMITH, INC. FOR ADDITIONAL SERVICES RELATED TO THE TRIPLET LAKE DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS (SIGNATURE STREET) PROJECT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 14 -2564 approves Amendment No. 1 to Supplemental Agreement No. 2 to the Standard Consultant Agreement with CDM Smith, Inc. for Professional Services for Transportation Engineering for an amount not to exceed $59,956, and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. Budget Impact: As included in the FY 2013 Budget Rollover, $125,051 is available in Stormwater Utility Fund Account #110-0740-539.63-53 for Triplet Lake Drive. An additional $406,600 is available in Water and Sewer Utility Fund Account #403 - 0751 - 536.6342 for the project. It is proposed to equally divide the additional fee of $59,956 between these two accounts ($29,978 each). While sufficient funds are available, this reduces the amount of funding available for project construction. Future Budget Amendments may be necessary at the time of award for construction. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution 14 -2564.
