Resolution 13 -2527 — Amendment No. 1 to Supplemental Agreement No. 7 to the Standard Consulting Agreement with Reiss Engineering, Inc. for Additional Design Services for the South Water Treatment Plant Granular Activated Carbon Treatment Addition "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CASSELBERRY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT NO.7 WITH REISS ENGINEERING, INC. FOR ADDITIONAL DESIGN WORK FOR THE GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER SYSTEM AT THE SOUTH WATER TREATMENT PLANT; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, SEVERABILITY, AND EFFECTIVE DATE." Introduction: Resolution 13 -2527 approves Amendment No. 1 to Supplemental Agreement No. 7 to the Standard Consultant Agreement between Reiss Engineering, Inc. and the City of Casselbeny for an amount not to exceed $18,420 and authorizes the Mayor to execute said document on behalf of the City. Budget Impact: Funding to cover the costs associated with Amendment No. 1 to Supplemental Agreement No. 7 is available in the Public Works Water Production Professional Services Account #401- 0754 - 533.31 -00. Recommendation: The City Manager and the Public Works Director recommended approval of Resolution 13 -2527. C. Budget Amendment #13 -065 — Emergency Repair and Purchase of Pumps for the Frangipani Pump Station in Lake Kathryn Estates Introduction: Budget Amendment 913 -065 is provided to fund the emergency purchase and /or repair oftwo pumps for the Frangipani pump station in Lake Kathryn Estates from Xylem Water Solutions USA, Inc. in the amount of $14,897.45. Budget Impact: Budget Amendment #13 -065 will reallocate $14,898 from the Distribution & Collection Repair & Maintenance /Sewer Account #401 - 0751 - 536.46 -13 to the Distribution & Collection Equipment Other Account #401- 0751 - 536.67 -35. BA #13 -065 Explanation of Request: This item seeks City Commission approval to provide funding for costs associated with the purchase of a replacement pump for Casselberry Pump Station No. 48 (Frangipani Pump Station). Xylem, Inc. is the sole source manufacturer for said pump and has submitted a price quotation in the amount of $14,897.45. This budget amendment will provide sufficient funding for the City to purchase this capital item.
