Fifth Item of Business: Public Comments
Mr. John Casselberry, 700 South Lost Lake Lane, Casselberry, Florida came forward. Mr. Casselberry questioned
the City's right to continue with a CRA without collecting funds from Seminole County. Ms. Smith said the CRA was originally
formulated by the City and the County later agreed to fund a portion of the City's CRA. She said it is possible for the City's
CRA to continue without Seminole County. She said the question is would the City Commission use the general revenue to
fully fund the CRA initiatives. A brief discussion ensued regarding other community redevelopment agencies within Seminole
County and their term expirations.
In response to Mr. Casselberry's question, Ms. Smith stated that Seminole County could not force the City to be
associated with the County's CRA.
Sixth Item of Business: Adjournment
There being no further business to come before the Board, Mr. McGregor adjourned the meeting at 9:31 a.m.
DATE MINUTES APPROVED BY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY:
Joni Di,)(0, Secretary
