adjustment will be discontinued if the Corporal assignment is discontinued. The assignment shall <br />not be discontinued solely due to reassignment of shift or squad. Corporals are not eligible for <br />FTO pay. The qualifications for, duties of, appointment or removal as a Corporal and the <br />number of Corporals shall be at the discretion of the Chief of Police. <br />33.11 All bargaining unit employees residing in the City of Casselberry shall receive a 2.0% <br />wage supplement for as long as they reside in the City of Casselberry. <br />33.12 If any additional compensation or benefits, beyond those already provided for in State <br />Statutes, are legislated by the State, and the cost of such additional compensation or benefits is <br />not sufficiently fiinded by the State, thereby increasing payroll and benefit costs to the City, the <br />parties at the request of the City shall re -open negotiation as to compensation and benefits <br />contained in this Agreement. "Compensation or benefits" includes, but is not limited to: <br />pensions or other retirement benefits; workers' compensation or other disability programs; <br />workweek; sick leave, holidays, or other paid leaves; uniform or clothing allowances; training, <br />certification or educational incentive compensation; but excluded the benefits currently provided <br />in Chapter 185, Florida Statutes. <br />33.13 Effective on January 19, 2014, all bargaining unit employees employed as of that date <br />and not at the top of the pay grade shall receive a 3.0% base wage increase. If the adjustment <br />would cause an employee's salary to exceed the salary range, the amount in excess of the salary <br />range will be paid to the employee in one lump sum in the first pay period that begins after <br />January 19. No salary adjustments will be made following January 19, 2014 without written <br />mutual agreement of the effective date and amount. <br />Page 46 <br />
