CASSELBERRY CITY COMMISSION Minutes of April 22, 2013 — Regular Meeting Page 14 of 14 Asked Commissioner Aramendia for an update on the City Center project. Commissioner Aramendia advised they were currently in the process of reviewing the agreements and deferred to Mr. Newlon and Ms. Reischmann for further information. Mr. Newlon explained that the developers had presented a draft agreement which was being reviewed and revised by Ms. Reischmann. He added that he and Ms. Reischmann would be meeting with the developers on Wednesday to continue the discussion. Vice Mayor Solomon expressed some concerns that were brought up at the Strategic Planning Workshop about the materials that would be used for the project. Mr. Newlon stated he had met with the developer and advised him of the Commission's concerns. Commissioner Fry inquired about the possibility of an additional workshop to further discuss the details of the concept and expectations regarding the City Center project, as he had not been involved in the earlier ones. It was then suggested that possibly Commissioner Fry could meet individually with the developers and receive a presentation to get him up to speed on what had transpired so far in the process. Mr. Newlon advised he would set up the meeting for Commissioner Fry with the developers. Mayor Charlene Glancy — Seat No. 5: • Noted that staff would be working on a resolution supporting the ban on candy flavored tobacco for consideration at the next meeting. • Reported she had attended the Relay for Life which was a huge success and had raised more money prior to the event than all of last year. • Stated she also had also attended the Time Capsule event which was a lot of fain.
